The best drone out there?

Casey Neistat testing his new DJI Phantom 4 Drone

The greatest feature is that you can remove the propellers simply. Twist and pull and they pop right off. This makes this drone tiny and pretty easy to travel with.

Jon Olsson is using the same drone. Fantastic video. It has a easy flight mode and a hard sporty one. Do not use the sporty one unless you really can handle the drone. You can easily lose one in the water, just like Jon did.

Check it out here!

The cameras from the future?

The cameras from the future?

It uses Drone technology instead of a handycam..

DJI OSMO

Looks promising! I´ve seen some amazing footage from this camera. And not to expensive either..

Check out Caseys first impressions of the camera

Check out the flow in this video filmed with and DJI OSMO.

I have had not getting anything from posting this..

Casey Neistat about filming and gear

Casey Neistat

He´s number one thing is the storytelling and perhaps consistency.

Canon S120 (300 bux)
Casey Neistats guide to filmmaking

“If you want the very best point and shot camera on the market? Get this Sony Rx100 mark 4. Pretty amazing camera except for the price, it’s like 900 bux” - Casey Neistat

Canon T6S / 760D – cheapest SLR you can buy that has autofocus (600 dollars)
Caseys main shooter: Canon D70 with a wide angel lens on. Camera like 1300 bux, lens another 500, the microphone is another 200. All in one its like a 2000 dollar setup.

Jon Olsson Video Camera Equipment

Been watching some of Jon Olsson videologs. Great quality. So I was wondering what kind of stuff he was using. He´s using grading as an effect for the special look.

Camera
Leica SL (Typ 601) Mirrorless Digital Camera 10850 B&H
He´s using about 90 % of the time according to this site.
He still using an SL but perhaps an newer version..

Lenses he´s using for the Leica
Leica 35mm f/1.4
Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.1
Leica 24mm f/1.4 Summilux-M Lens
Leica 11082 Super-Vario-Elmar-T 11-23mm f/3.5-4.5 Wide-Angle Lens

Wideangel with autofocus: 11-23 mm T-lens, Leica lins to use since the other is to heavy on a selfiestick

Zoomer: APO-Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280mm f/2.8-4 Lens (for surfing an so on)

Action camera he uses
GoPro HERO4 (Black)

GoPro HERO Session (very leigtweight at 74 grams)

Instead of using a selfiestick he uses

GoPro 3-Way Grip, Arm, Tripod

Suction cup:
GoPro Suction Cup Mount

Microphone
Rode VideoMic Pro Compact VMP Shotgun Microphone

Drone
He sometimes uses a Drone to get some nice video, overlooking the area. This is what he uses. And he found out it didnt float.. Will he choose the same?
